As a Machine Learning Engineer you will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining the core models powering our innovative voice products. Constantly pushing boundaries, you will integrate state-of-the-art architectures, training methodologies, and techniques into our product ecosystem. Collaborating closely with our research team, you'll contribute to the full model development lifecycle, training and evaluating large transformer models, and implementing novel in-house technologies.

• Train models frequently to ensure optimal performance and accuracy.
• Own the full model development lifecycle, from ideation to deployment.
• Build, maintain, and optimize ML training and data pipelines, often in collaboration with other teams.
• Introduce cutting-edge architectures, modeling approaches, and training techniques into our products.
• Collaborate with our research team to integrate proprietary research findings into core ML products.

• PhD or MS (or foreign equivalent) in machine learning, applied mathematics, or related field.
• Proven experience as an ML Engineer in related fields, demonstrating proficiency in machine learning concepts and techniques.
• Mastery of fundamental data structures, algorithms, linear algebra, and applied statistics.
• Strong understanding of transformers and state-of-the-art large language model (LLM) modeling and fine-tuning techniques.
• Proficiency in deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, Jax, or TensorFlow.
• Experience with ML-Ops tooling and cloud infrastructure.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively within interdisciplinary teams.
• Deep self-awareness, integrity, and resilience, with the ability to thrive in ambiguous environments.
• Nice to have: Experience working closely with product teams or with voice/multi-modal products.
